At IKOR of Eastern Pennsylvania, our greatest asset is our people. We are a team of experienced professionals united by a shared commitment to providing exceptional care management, advocacy, and fiduciary support with compassion, integrity, and professionalism.
Our Registered Nurse Care Managers each bring more than a decade of clinical experience, along with specialized care management expertise that enables them to expertly coordinate care, advocate for clients, and navigate complex healthcare systems with confidence. Our fiduciary services are led by a highly experienced professional with extensive knowledge of all things fiduciary, ensuring clients receive trusted guidance and meticulous attention to their personal and financial affairs.
Because many clients benefit from both healthcare advocacy and fiduciary support, our teams work collaboratively to provide seamless, coordinated services tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances. Theresa Kuhar, BSN, RN, CCM
President and Owner
Theresa Kuhar is the President and Owner of IKOR of Eastern Pennsylvania, where she leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families navigate the complex healthcare, financial, and personal challenges that often accompany aging and chronic illness.
Theresa’s leadership philosophy is rooted in integrity, compassion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to acting in each client’s best interest. She believes the most effective outcomes are achieved through collaboration and has cultivated strong relationships with many of the region’s most respected home care agencies, elder law attorneys, wealth advisors, trust officers, senior living communities, and other professional partners. By bringing together the right experts for every situation, Theresa ensures clients receive thoughtful, coordinated, and holistic solutions while supporting the trusted local professionals who strengthen the communities IKOR serves.
Theresa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Magna Cum Laude, from the Holy Family University School of Nursing in 2001. She was inducted into the prestigious international nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau, in recognition of her academic excellence and commitment to the nursing profession. In 2021, she earned the Certified Case Manager (CCM), further enhancing her expertise in coordinating complex healthcare needs and advocating for optimal client outcomes. She is also an Advanced Professional Member of the Aging Life Care Association.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Theresa is deeply committed to serving her community. She is an active member of her church and serves as the Secretary of the Philadelphia Northeast Lions Club. Theresa was the District Governor for District 14-A of Lions Clubs International for the 2025/2026 term. Theresa and her husband are the proud parents of six children and grandparents to four grandchildren. Outside of work, she treasures time with her family and enjoys camping, kayaking, cycling, and exploring the outdoors. Her passion for service, leadership, faith, and family is reflected in every aspect of her life and continues to inspire the compassionate, service-centered culture that defines IKOR of Eastern Pennsylvania.
Sandy Cairnes
Director of Fiduciary Services
Following a professional career spanning over 25 years as a Vice President and Trust Officer in community banking, Sandy joined IKOR of Eastern PA as Director of Fiduciary Services. Driven by a passion for helping individuals and families navigate complex financial and life management challenges, Sandy brings a depth of experience in leadership, client advocacy, and fiduciary oversight.
In this role, Sandy oversees IKOR’s fiduciary services, including bill pay, Power of Attorney, Guardianship, and Trust services. She works closely with clients, families, attorneys, estate planners, and other professionals to ensure each client’s needs are met with the highest level of care, integrity, respect and professionalism. Known for a thoughtful and client-centered approach, Sandy is dedicated to protecting clients’ best interests and enhancing their quality of life.
Prior to joining IKOR of Eastern PA, Sandy held leadership roles in Trust Administration, where she developed a strong foundation in all realms of the fiduciary services industry.
Sandy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Cum Laude, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She received certificates from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Trust and Cannon Financial Institute Trust Investments School. She resides in Bucks County, PA and, in her free time, enjoys travel, music and spending time with her family and friends.
